It is important to protect the tiles and remove the lime! Since acidic or caustic cleaners are not suitable for natural stone, you should use mildly alkaline cleaners such as the basic cleaner from Lithofin. Apply this to the stains, wait until the lime has dissolved and then remove with brushes and sponges. Prevention is also a good option here: Simply remove water after a shower with a puller so that limescale stains do not appear.

You can remove green coverings etc. with brushes and brooms also with the help of a diluted basic cleaner. If stains are particularly stubborn, companies offer suitable special cleaners for natural stone use the agent specified by the manufacturer or you are looking for a moss and algae remover from another manufacturer. In general, impregnation also helps here as a preventive measure to keep green coverings away.

Over time, joints can darken, depending on the space and stress. Today, jointing material mostly contains impregnation and therefore this effect is significantly less.
