Properties of Travertine Types?

Travertine tiles are frost-proof as long as the naturally occurring holes are not closed with a spatula. For this reason, tile retailers also speak of travertine filled or not unfilled. Using the unfilled tile variant is advisable if the travertine tiles are used outdoors. In the interior of the living area, a filled natural stone surface is preferred.
